Fungi Not From Yuggoth: Lovecraftian Science
Over on Lovecraftian Science, there is a great post about Lovecraft and fungus. Fungi are still a great mystery to science. I remember reading a chapter on mushrooms in The Omnivore's Dilemma and being struck by how Lovecraftian they are.
