Lovecraft E-Zine: the top ten horror games of 2023
Of the list, I've only played Sherlock Holmes the Awakened and Dreams in the Witch House. I'm sure I'll be playing Dredge at some point, since it checks many boxes for me.

I learned about Varney Lake and Killer Frequency, both of which I will be at least adding to my Steam wishlist to languish there indefinitely.

7. Killer Frequency A full blast of 80s retro-slasher horror, Killer Frequency finds the player as a former big time DJ stuck in a small town radio station on the anniversary of a horrific murder spree thirty years previously. Get it here
