Scary 'Sabrina' continues Archie's horror bent (Afterlife with Archie)
I have to admit, I've yet to actually read Afterlife with Archie but I will definitely be doing so once the trade comes out.
It may seem like a kind of novelty project or publicity stunt but the writer and artist behind the series are real talented folk. (Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Fransesco Francovilla respectively. Hopefully I spelled everyone's name correctly.)
USA Today published a story about everyone's favorite teenage witch joining the Archie Horror line(WTF) and it honestly seems like a pretty interesting, exciting comic. When did Archie Comics become more relevant and interesting than DC and Marvel? (RHETORICAL QUESTION)
The zombie-laden Afterlife with Archie series has been such a boon for the publisher that it's continuing to embrace the horror for Sabrina, an ongoing series launching in October that's written by Afterlife writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and stars Sabrina the Teenage Witch.Afterlife With Archie continues with Scary Sabrina(USA Today)
