John Avon is probably the most highly regarded fantasy landscape artist. He regularly paints absolutely beautiful landscapes for Magic the Gathering (see Unhinged Swamp above).
It's very tempting for me to back his new Kickstarter book, "John Avon: Journeys to Somewhere Else." I've certainly been staring at his pretty much every day for twenty years now. Art books are always a bit hard to justify purchasing as I generally only look at them maybe once. But this would certainly be a conversation starter (amongst the right company, of course).
The Kickstarter project has already met it's goal.
